On Saturday, April 13th 2019, the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council briefed a visiting Senate Staff Delegation in Abu Dhabi and focused on energy cooperation and issues. The visit was organized by the Atlantic Council and is designed to provide better awareness and understanding of the close U.S.-U.A.E. partnership in areas related to various energy verticals.

On Monday, April 15th 2019, the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council hosted a breakfast discussion in Dubai with a visiting U.S. Congressional Staff Delegation comprised of senior staff from the Democratic leadership on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Intelligence Committee. The discussion, which was focused on the re-imposition of sanctions on Iran, was attended by a small number of senior U.S. and U.A.E. business executives in the finance, logistics, and legal sectors.

The visits by both delegations afforded the Senate and House staff members a better understanding of the close bilateral relationship between the U.S. and U.A.E. in key areas and sectors of business vital to both countries.
