The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council hosted a briefing and discussion with His Excellency Omar Al Olama, U.A.E. Minister of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications on Tuesday, October 19th at the Ritz Carlton DIFC in Dubai. 

The meeting was attended by some 40 key executives from U.S. and U.A.E. companies in the technology, healthcare, financial services, and professional services industries. 

With regard to the U.A.E.’s new personal and commercial data law, Minister Al Olama thanked U.S. industry for the collaborative approach that has resulted in what will be an industry best standard in the broader Middle East region. 

H.E. also outlined more detail on the Projects of the 50 and described U.A.E. goals and objectives in making the country one of the most desirable places to live and work today and for the foreseeable future. 

Finally, the Minister highlighted U.A.E. relationships in the digital domain with other countries in the world as they pertain to innovation and collaboration. He encouraged U.S. companies to redouble their efforts to partner with the U.A.E. in creating solutions for the future.
